the white necklace i am wearing was given to me by my friend Morgan. she is a freshman at KU and got it at a resale shop in Lawrence. the locket was a gift for my birthday and from a local vintage jewelry shop called Mae's Emporium.

there was a link on the Zoe Report talking about Molly Sims' new accessories line Grayce. Molly is someone whose taste i have always admired and this line is no different. some of the pieces have been seen multiple times before but majority has a great vintage/art deco feel to it.

long overdue

busy, busy week!

last weekend, i went into target with my hopes high and heart racing (literally) to see the Zac Posen line...i didn't buy one piece. there was a cute shirt with small cutouts in the back with a pink tie-dye look to it that i would have loved but there wasn't my size! then i moved on to some high-waisted shorts which ended up being terribly unflattering. i tried on a few other pieces but nothing impressed me enough to spend $50 and plus dollars at Target! but of course, i bought something.

Cynthia Vincent (amazing contemporary designer) did a shoe line for Target that is Saks worthy to say the least. And who doesn't love cognac for spring?

I have yet to talk about my job at a local boutique called Masons. There are 2 locations and each is just as fabulous as the other. We carry anything from American Apparel to Walter and our shoes are the best in the town! I have been working there for about a year and a half now and love it. Just recently, Mason Hiba of Masons passed away. He was a very passionate man and loved nothing more than his customers. He did an amazing job building up a business over the past 20 years.

Working there, I have met some stylish people who have turned into stylish friends. Chris is one of them. I walked into work today, looked him up and down, and instantly told him I want to put him in my blog! He has great hair (it changes quite frequently) and an amazing sense of style...



Chris is wearing an American Eagle button up, pants from Gap (love the paint splattered), a cardigan from Urban Outfitters, Sam Edleman boots, and a hat from Masons.

clancy dee

Lovvvve these Candela leather flats...the cutouts are just enough and the slight heel adds a bit more comfort. these would go great on the feet of one of my dear friends, Clancy.




Clancy is currently attending Georgetown and was just told a few weeks ago that her cancer (Hodgkins- she was diagnosed a few months ago) is now gone! she is one of the coolest people i have ever met and has the style to go along with it. her staple is tights, ballet flats, an over sized t-shirt/men's button up of some sort, and a headband. this may sound all too preppy but the girl pulls it off with an edge adding vests, lots of jewelry, scarves for any season and of course shoes. think j. crew meets topshop...!

fetherston for juicy

After the recent announcement that Vera Wang will design for Davids Bridal, I thought the design collaborations couldn't get any stranger...it was just announced that Erin Fetherston will be designing for Juicy Couture. Hopefully she can bring some much needed pizazz to the line considering Nordstrom decided against carrying Juicy for fall 2010. Although accessories and other Juicy items are doing well, the apparel sales are not as hot. It'll be interesting in seeing what Erin will do!

After seeing the recent commercials for sex in the city 2, it makes me want to ride a camel and wear a turban. Although I am a little worried about the story line(4 new yorkers in a desert?) I know the clothes will be nothing short of fabulous.

any thoughts on a turban? personally, i would wear one in a heartbeat. this tangerine colored one at $6 from forever is hardly an investment.
