back

i apologize for my long period of absence. i am sure that is not recommended when someone first starts a blog but.....while i was away, i managed to buy some fabulous things: a white tulle skirt from urban outfitters (very sjp) and a bow tie belt from anthropologie. welcome spring!

i have run into a bit of a problem in the past few months. for the life of me i cannot find a purse i like. the ones i want are a) to expensive (birkin, Chanel 2.5, ect) and well pretty much just a. then there is the whole fake ordeal. never before have i had the problem of purchasing a fake until i read in article in harpers bazaar about it. i felt as though i was letting down my favorite fashion houses and it was my duty make a stand! well that stand has led me to purchasing purses at forever 21 (based of fakes but no apparent cc's) or carrying nothing at all. but i will persevere!

something that i cannot ignore is the Alexander Wang bags. they are phenomenal, and apparently everyone else thinks so to because i cannot look through a magazine or scroll through a fashion app without running into one! although not AS pricey as some, alexander wang's retail somewhere around $425-875.

karl, don't leave me!

With all this crazy talk of Karl Lagerfeld (creative director for Chanel) leaving has had me in sad spirits. With the designer nearing his 80's, speculation has been surfacing for the past few months. But who could replace such an icon? Alber Elbaz apparently, creative director of Lanvin. Although i am a fan of his, Karl will always have a special place in my heart...

welcome mat

"Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society."

I want to start of my blog with this quote from Mark Twain. It is one of the few things I believe in with 100% of 5'2'' self. Fashion is all around us all the time! It is inevitable! Many believe it's silly spending so much time and effort into one's wardrobe but what they don't understand is that fashion is a way of life. Something that evolve. Is an art, and whether we like it or not, influences EVERYONE.
